Noise barrier gabion with concrete core

The BestProtect noise barrier gabion is a transportable basket system, consisting of a prefabricated concrete core with integrated gabion baskets.

• Spot-welded safety wire mesh grids with zinc-aluminium coating (95% zinc, 5% aluminium)
• Standard wire strength Ø 4.5 mm
• monotecR^® gabion mesh size 5×10 cm, cover grid 10x10cm
• Tensile strength of all wire articles min. 450 N/mm²
• 3,000 hour salt spray testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227-NSS
• Integrated reinforced concrete core with tongue and groove
• Highly absorbent 9 dB, group A3 in accordance with DIN EN 1793-1, ZTV LSW 06
• Acoustic insulation 31 dB, group B3 in accordance with DIN EN 1793-2, ZTV LSW 06
• Approved for use by Deutsche Bahn

The filling material of the gabion baskets is defined in accordance with sound insulation requirements, particularly regarding sound absorption.
